Due to space restrictions in Emma's room (having a bed and crib in one room takes up a lot of space) I've been really looking forward to Emma being ready to sleep in a big girl bed. She finally began sleeping on a cot at daycare sucessfully so I thought I would give it a try. Instead of going straight to the big bed I figu
red I would start her off in the toddler bed (the crib converts to a toddler bed). So I took off the side and put up the rail to keep her from falling out. I put her to bed and she did great! She fussed a little bit which is unusual since she normally goes straight to sleep. After about 20 minutes I went in and she was sitting up so I laid her back down and sat with her for about 10 minutes and left while she was still awake. About 10 minutes later she was passed out cold! She didn't wake up until 7am! I'll let her sleep here for a month or so before I move her to the daybed.
